STILL Table Lamp
The Still light is a mirror sculpture, reflecting the environment, standing still like a minimal art object in its off-state. When the room goes dark, it reveals a timeless threshold once it's lit-up.
“Time froze as one stares into the perpetual snowdrift inside the table lamp. The Still light forms the surroundings with a cool glow and infinite silence, capturing the ethereal calmness of watching a window of falling snow as it turns the room into a pausing still space,” Sunny says.
Project Specs
• Dimensions: H 14.5 in × W 6 in × D 2.625 in.
• Materials: one-way mirror acrylic, clear acrylic, adjustable LED strip. Cord: 72 in, silver fabric outer, dimmer switch.
• Manufacturing Process + fabrication: vacuum form a clear acrylic sheet from a custom sculpted snowdrift form, sand down the surface to create a frosted finishing, assemble the pre-cut one-way mirror acrylic with acrylic cement to build the exterior, assemble led strip inside the frosted interior.
